Amendment to the City of Sarasota Action Plan
The Office of Housing and Community Development is proposing an amendment to the City of Sarasota’s Action Plan.
In accordance with 24 CFR Section 570.505, the Sarasota Office of Housing and Community Development has proposed a Substantial Amendment to the Action Plan which will identify eligible uses for unanticipated revenue from the sale of 890 Central Avenue, Sarasota, Florida. It is proposed that the revenue will be used to benefit residents in low-income areas: at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park at 2320 Cocoanut Avenue, the bathrooms will be renovated; and new playground equipment will be installed at the Eastwood Park at 422 West Cornelius Circle, Sarasota, Florida.
