The Division of customs expertise and conducting the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity renamed to the Division on control of non-tariff regulation in foreign economic activity and customs expertise with the assignment of the following additional tasks to it:

• coordination of activities of controlling bodies at checkpoints across the State border of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• coordination of the application by regulatory authorities measures of non-tariff regulation in respect of goods that require obtaining permits and other documents in the course of foreign trade activities, as well as goods subject to licensing and quotas;

• coordination of activities of controlling bodies for their application of prohibitions and restrictions on the import and (or) export of goods;
• development of a methodology for applying and improving the customs information system “Single window”;
• introduction of the customs register of intellectual property objects;
• development and implementation of the methodology of control over customs clearance of export control objects.
