As many presidents live for many years after leaving office, several of
them have personally overseen the building and opening of their own
presidential libraries, some even making arrangements for their own
burial at the site. Several presidential libraries therefore contain the
graves of the president they document, such as the Richard Nixon
Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, California and the Ronald Reagan
Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. The graves are viewable
by the general public visiting these libraries.
