The scene “Little Red Riding Hood”
Scenery 1. (A nice house and a green lawn in front of it. The girl is looking out of the window. She is wearing a red riding hood. Two hunters are coming by.)
Little Red Ridind Hood: Hello, folks! Hello, Roger. Will you help me to get out? Mummy locked me in. Come and open the window. You must hurry up!
Roger: What’a that? (looks at her cap.)
LRRH: A nice surprise. Mummy has made it for me. Who is your friend?
Roger: This is my friend Jim. He is a hunter too. I have brought him to our forest as a special treat. He is going to shoot a wolf.
LRRH (jumps out of the window): Hello, Jim! This is a quiet place. There aren’t any wolves here. Can you do me a favour, Jim? Try on this cap.
Jim (laughs): I;ll do if you ask. Does it suit me well?
LRRH: Looks great! See you later.
Mother (with a stick, out of the window): I’ve told you to stay at home. You’re punished.
(She begins beating poor Jimwith the stick as if he were LRRH. Jim cries.) Who ate the sour cream and broke the vacuum cleaner?
Jim: Sorry, ma’am. I’m a newcomer. You shouldn’t beat me, I haven’t done those awful things.
Mother: Why have you put on this cap?
Roger: I’m to blame. It was me who let her go out.
Mother: It was not a good idea. Corny is a naughty girl therefore I make her wear this cap. You’re not the only on who let LRRH fool you. Sorry, Jim. I knoe girls like to fool young people. But my daughter loves to cause trouble.
Jim: I am not bothered by a naughty girls. All I want is to shoot a wolf.
Roger: He is fond of hunting. I promised to show him a wolf. How is your old lady, ma’am?
Mother: She is sick of all this fuss about that girl, so she has bought a little hut in the forest to live in summer. I guess she has a good time here.
