SNA UNIT LEVEL ELECTION-2015-(07.11.2015)

SNA unit level election for the year 2015-2016 was held on 07.11.15 in the college auditorium and the following students were selected as bearers.

Elections were conducted in a smooth manner in the presence of SNA advisor and other faculty members.

14-11-15: As a part of the World Diabetic Day, SNA unit Poyanil College of Nursing celebrated diabetic day on 14/11/15 in the community health hall Kozhencherry. The students were participated in diabetic day rally and presented a mime and it was organized by District Health Mission.

28-11-15: SNA unit Poyanil College of Nursing participated in Zonal election 2016 on 28.11.15 conducted in TMM College of Nursing. SNA office bearers with SNA advisor Mrs.Shibi Mariam Thomas, SNA Secretary and Vice president cast the votes.

01-12-15: World AIDS day was celebrated on 01.12.15 based on theme “Get to Zero”. Aids rally was starts at china junction to konni town.4^th Year B.Sc. Nursing students participated in the rally and the program came to an end by 12.30pm.

05-02-2016: The lamp lighting ceremony of the 6^th batch B.Sc. Nursing was held in the St. Thomas Marthoma Church Auditorium. Welcome speech by Prof.Pradeep V S, Principal, Poyanil CON.Inagural address by Rev.Boby Philip (Vicar, Marthoma Church, Ranni).The keynote address was given by Prof.Dr.Suvaranalatha Devi.K and annual report by Prof.Nisha M D, Vice Principal Poyanil CON. Mrs.Bindhu Sara George, Managing Partner, Poyanil Hospitals was there in the program. All parents were present on this auspicious function and made this event a memorable one.

20-02-16: Fresher’s day for the 6^th Batch of students was conducted on 20.02.16 in the college auditorium under the leadership of SNA advisor and it was coordinated by 5^th batch students. Students participated on various cultural programs.

09-03-16: A seminar conducted by Norka Roots on 09.03.16 in Poyanil College of Nursing auditorium. Faculty members and senior executives were taken the class.

12-03-16: Women’s day was celebrated in Poyanil College of Nursing on 12.03.16 with JCI group. Theme presentation done by Prof. Pradeep VS, Principal Poyanil CON Class taken by Dr.Susan, Principal and CEO of RIMS, Pandalam.Presidential address by Mrs.Mini Shyam Mohan, Panchayath president.

17-03-16: Unit sports & games conducted on 17.03.16 at Poyanil College of Nursing ground. Winners were selected for Zonal level competition.

31-03-16: Students of Poyanil College of Nursing participated in Zonal Out-door sports on 31.03.16 at Public Stadium, Thiruvalla.Mr.Aswin.T.Abraham got 1^st prize in Discuss throw and selected for State SNA sports meet.

05-04-16: Students of Poyanil College of Nursing participated in Zonal In-door sports on 05.04.16 at Travancore Club, Perumthuruthy.Mr.Aswin.T.Abraham (4^th Year BSc.(N)) got second prize in Badminton (Singles) and 3^rd prize in Caroms and selected for State SNA competitions.

09.05.16: As a part of Nurses week celebration, Poyanil College of Nursing SNA unit participated in Educational competitions on 09.05.16 organized by Govt.Health Department, Pathanamthitta.Students got 1^st prize in poster competition.

21.05.16: As a part of SNA unit Poyanil College of Nursing conducted Education and Cultural competition on 21.05.16.Various competitions were held and student actively participated in various events.

21.06.16: Students of Poyanil College of nursing participated in zonal level education competition conducted in MGM Muthoot College of Nursing Kozhencherry, on 21.06.16.students won prizes in various competitions.

As part of world health day celebration,SNA south east zone conducted poster competition.SNA Unit Poyanil CON won 2^nd prize, in the poster competition.The theme: ‘Beat Diabetes’.

19.07.2016 Students of Poyanil College of Nursing participated in zonal cultural competition conducted in Parumala St.Gregorious College of Nursing Parumala. On 19.07.2016 students got 2^nd prize in Group dance & Fancy dress competition.

22.07.16 Poyanil College of Nursing students Participated in state level Sports meet held on 02.07.16 at Govt. Medical College, Kozhikode. Aswin T Abreham (4^th year BSc nursing student) Participated in various events.

20.08.16-22.08.16 Poyanil college of Nursing students Participated in University South zone Kalolsavam held on 22-08-16 to 24-08-16 at TD medical college Alapuzha, Student won 2^nd prize in Group dance, 3^rd prize in fancy dress, Kathaprasangam and Group song.

01.09.16 Poyanil College of Nursing SNA Unit conducted Course Inauguration of 7^th batch students on 01.09.16 in the college auditorium.All freshers and their parents attended the programme. Prayer and invocation given by Rev.Johnson Varghese (Asst vicar marthoma church kozhencherry).Presidential address given by Dr.Joseph George ,MD Poyanil hospitals and institutions.

09.09.2016 Students of Poyanil College of Nursing conducted onam celebration (onanilavu2016) in the college campus. Conducted various competitions and students actively participated in the programme.

06.10.16: Poyanil College of Nursing SNA Unit participate in Essay writing and poster competition as part of Mental Health Day. Organized by the Pathanamthitta District health department.Competitions conducted in district hospital kozhencherry.

05.11.16 Students of Poyanil College of Nursing gave farewell for 3^rd batch students on5.11.16 in the college auditorium. It was coordinated by 4^th batch students, Gave memento for best academic and best Clinical Nurse respectively. Students were performed various cultural programs.

28.11.16 SNA Unit Poyanil College of Nursing participated and won Prize on skit competition as part of AIDS Day celebration conducted by Pathanamthitta District health department. Held at Govt School of nursing Omallor.

01.12.16 SNA Unit Poyanil College of Nursing participated in Rally conducted by pathanamthitta district AIDS Day celebrations at Adoor and won 2^nd Prize in Rally competition.Students were actively participated in the Rally.

03.12.16 SNA Unit Poyanil College of Nursing ,conducted SNA Unit election for selecting the New Unit Executives for 2016-17 Academic year. Election conducted in a smooth manner.

23.12.16 SNA Unit Poyanil College of Nursing conducted christmas programme on 23.12.2016 in Marthoma Auditorium, Kozhencherry, various programmes performed by the students, students were very happy to attend the programme.
