Populations of Central Asian tortoise Agrionemys horsfieldii (gray 1844) distributed in Kashkadarya region

Conclusion: In conclusion, it should be noted that the tortoises distributed in Kashkadarya region mainly belong to the species Agrionemys horsfieldi (Gray, 1844) and the subspecies A.h.horsfeild (Gray, 1844). The structure of the carapace of the tortoise in Kashkadarya region forms several variants depending on the area of distribution. Individs with typical features of the species are found in the southern foothills and mountains of Kashkadarya region. Later, , populations of the species separated from south to north and west and formed new characters. During the research, we studied and analyzed the parameter ((W6M/W3M)/(W6M/W9M)) and its location relative to the carapace geometry as the most distinctive patrameter in the analysis of the morphological characteristics of the species.
