Populations of Central Asian tortoise Agrionemys horsfieldii (gray 1844) distributed in Kashkadarya region

MATERIALS AND METHODS:
Measurement of the selected area (Polygonal Covex) and selected of the Route. The study area may be part of a single biogeocenosis or consist of several biogeocenoses. Therefore, we wanted the research area to be mainly at the intersection of biogeocenoses. The reason of this is to better understand the species diversity being studied and the frequency of distribution in the rest of the biogeocinosis. The study area was measured by the polygonal covex method [Numerov A. D., et al 2010]. Movement across the field (Route). One of the traditional methods involves a number of directions that cross the research area [Numerov A. D., et al 2010]. We have perfected this method with Google earth pro mobile app and GPS mobile app.
RESULTS
Our research was conducted in 11 selected areas across Kashkadarya region (pic-1). A total of 204 Central Asian tortoise were found in 8 of these areas. Individuals of A. horsfeildii (Gray, 1844) in Desert A2, Desert A4, and Mountain C1 regions were not returned (Tab-1).
