No country in the world there are so many (over 500) of ancient castles and fortresses, both in the UK. Castles of Britain - is it a historical treasure, which can tell us about the life of heroes and ordinary people of the Great Empire. The owners of the most ancient and mysterious castles are either royal family or one of the aristocrats, the estate received the inheritance. Each lock is unique in its own way and, of course, has a mystical legend. England, even called the "island spirit" because the history of this country is replete with stories of just a ghost. Only in England can be found in the newspaper ad to sell the castle to see a ghost or a road sign "Beware of casting!".
