The simulated results of effect of completion length on recovery for different initial reservoir
pressure and permeability show that gas recovery increase with permeability and for each
permeability values, the maximum recovery occur when the gas zone is totally perforated (figure
03) i.e. the maximum recovery is reached for a totally perforated gas well.

Armenta and Wojtanowicz (2003) also suggest that shorter completions are optimal if gas
price is very high, discount rate is low and well productivity is high enough that the pseudoskin
resulting from partial penetration is relatively unimportant.

Aquifer determines the amount of reservoir energy that can be provided by water influx (Tran
et al, 2018). In general, simulated production results for different aquifer sizes tells us that oil and
gas recoveries increases with increasing aquifer size.
However, gas recoveries reaches a maximum
at aquifer size (M) ranging from approximately 10 to 30 depending on the model calibration (see
figure 05).

The increase in recovery with aquifer size is because more and more water enters into
the reservoir to fill the space created from the gas production and this influx of water results in
maintaining reservoir pressure at higher level and less liquid is dropped from gas, so deliverability
of the well is maintained at high level and well produces for long time as shown in figure 06. Also
