Past Perfect – ma’hali o’tkende bir is-ha’reketten aldin sadir bolg’an is-hareketlerdi aytqanda qollaniladi:

Sayyora arrived at the party – Sayyora ziyapatqa keldi.

When Sayyora arrived at the party, Rasul had gone home – Sayyora ziyapatqa kelgen gezde, Rasul uyine qaytip ketken edi.

When we got home last night, we found that somebody had broken into the flat

Keshe uyge kelgen gezde, kimdir u’yge kirgenin bildik.

Sam didn’t want to go to the cinema, because he had seen the film before.

Present Perfect ma’halinin’ o’tkendegi versiyasi Past Perfect bolip esaplanadi.

Who is that woman ? I have never seen her before.

(Ana ayel kim ? Men oni aldin ko’rmegenmen)

I didn’t know who she was. I had never seen her before.

(Ol ayel kim ekenin bilmedim. Men oni aldin ko’rmegen edim)

We aren’t hungry. We have just had lunch.

(Bizler ash emespiz. Bizler jan’a g’ana tu’slik qildiq.)

(Bizler ash emes edik. Bizler awqatlang’an edik.)

The house is dirty. They have not cleaned it for weeks.

(Uy patas. Olar uydi ko’p ha’pteden beri tazalamag’an)

Past Perfect Continuous - ma’hali o’tkende bir is-ha’reketten aldin sadir bolg’an ha’m sol waqitqa shekem dawam etken is-hareketlerdi aytqanda qollaniladi:

When the boys came into the house, their clother were dirty and one of them had a black eye. They had been fighting.

(Balalar u’yge kelgen gezde, olardin’ kiyimleri kir edi ha’m olardin’ birewinin’ ko’zi ko’gergen edi. Olar to’belesken edi.

Yesterday morning I got up and looked out of the window. The sun was shining, but the ground was wet. I had been raining.

(Keshe azanda uyqidan turdim ha’m aynadan qaradim. Ku’n jarqirap turg’an edi, biraq jer iz’gar edi. Jawin jawg’an edi.)

We had been playing tennis for about half an hour when it started to rain.

(Jawin jawip baslag’an gezde bizler yarim sa’gattan beri tennis oynap atirg’an edik.)

(Avtobus tez keledi dep u’mit etemen. Men 20 minuttan beri ku’tip turman.)

At last the bus came. I had been waiting for 20 minutes.

(Aqirinda avtobus keldi. Men 20 minuttan beri ku’tip turg’an edim.)
