Implementation of research results. Based on the obtained results in the study of 
algal flora of the lower reaches of the Zarawschan River: 
The list of indicator types the degree of mineralization and water pH has been 
introduced into the activities of the Committee of Ecology and Environmental Protection 
of the Navoi region (reference No. 03-02 / 3-2053 of April 18, 2019 of the State 
Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Ecology and Environmental Protection). 
The results made it possible to determine the hydrochemical properties of water along the 
current and seasonally based on indicator species, and also to monitor the state of natural 
water reservoires; 
Algological specimens collected from the lower reaches of the Zeravshan River 
were transferred to the collection of the unique object “Algae Flora of Ponds” of the 
Institute of Botany (reference No. 4 / 1255-1173 of the Academy of Sciences of the 
Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 12, 2019). The results enriched data on the algae 
flora of in Uzbekistan, allowed to determine the parasites of algae and supplement the 
single database “Algae flora of the rivers in Uzbekistan”. 
A list of indicator species of saprobity and data on their distribution were used in 
monitoring water quality by the in Navoi district Center for State Sanitary and 
Epidemiological Surveillance (reference No. 09-8/1178 dated February 22, 2019 of the 
Ministry of Health). The results made it possible to determine the level of contamination 
of the reservoir with organic substances along the course and seasons of the year, and to 
assess the sanitary state of natural water bodies of the study area. 
Structure and volume of the dissertation. The dissertation consists of an 
introduction, six chapters and bibliography. The volume is 109 pages.
