Writing skills
1  Understanding  the  task
For  General  Training  W riting  Task  1,  you  w ill  be  asked  to  w rite  a 
letter.  The  letter  must  be  w ritten  in  the  correct  style:
•  informal  (if you  are  w riting  to  family  or  friends)
•  semi-formal  (if you  are  w riting  to  a  w ork  colleague  you  know   well)
•  formal  (if you  are  w riting  to  a  business  or a  local  new spaper)
