Annotation
No matter how surprising this question is, the fact that it is considered an
immortal work is the performance of the heroes, its uniqueness, the fact that it
shakes and embodies the reader, it is obvious that the inner world of the work is like
all the protagonists. it seems.
Keywords, phrases: "Past days", historical conditions, situation, customs, spiritual
world, stature, image.
Abdullah Qadiri, as a leading intellectual of his time, cared about the fate of the
homeland and the nation. Through the novel "Last Days" he wants to awaken the
national consciousness of the people, to talk about "the dirtiest, darkest days of our
history" - the next unfortunate "khan's time" that brought the country to the brink of
colonialism. ldi.

The novel "Last Days" is a huge and clear mirror, in which the specific historical
conditions, life, customs, spiritual world, stature and image of the Uzbek nation are
widely reflected. is clearly described. The reader is thrilled by one of the most
precious details in the book - the "precious stone" - a feeling of love. The tragic
scenes that deprive Otabek and Silver of their happy moments are thought-
provoking. Under the pretext of the romantic adventures of lovers, the author depicts
a certain historical period - the situation in Turkestan on the eve of the Russian
invasion, the dark days. At the same time, he masterfully incorporates the idea that
ignorance, backwardness, and internal strife are the main reasons for the country's
captivity. (People's Word, Example of Past Days, p. 3)
Because of the unique charm of the author's artistic words, no matter how many
times you read "Last Days", you will not be satisfied, you will feel the need to re-read.
The novel does not bore the reader. In the process of re-reading, new aspects of the
work are opened. Episodes that are ignored in one reading are highlighted the next.
This, of course, has to do with the writer's skill in creating an image, his deep
understanding of the human heart. After all, in the world of art, as in fiction, the
artistic word - poetic speech - is important: the word depicts the landscape, spirit and
image.
I re-read The Last Days. Do you know what I found in this reading? The
protagonist of "Last Days" is not Kumush and Otabek, but Yusufbek Haji. I don't think
the novel would have been like "A Thousand and One Nights" if it hadn't been for this
great character.
I found the wisdom of that statement. Abdullah Qadiri, in the person of Haji
Yusufbek, saw the struggle for the unity of the nation and the integrity of the
Motherland as the meaning of his life; encouraging petty quarrels, such as kinship,
acquaintanceship, and localism, to great deeds, if the situation persists; described the
great figure who foretold the destruction of the nation, the humiliation of the land
under the feet of the invaders.
Indeed, if you study the image of Yusufbek Haji carefully, the novel's significance
will continue to grow. You will discover the sacrifice of a great nation.

The Last Days is a work in which everyone has their own hero. Let's say, Yusufbek Haji
is the protagonist for people of a wise age who think broadly, are rich in observations,
have a great life experience, and are concerned about the place and prestige of our
nation on the world stage; the protagonist for Muslim, submissive, obedient women -
Oftoboyim; the hero of the age who dreams of true love, pure love - Silver and
Otabek; Zaynab is the protagonist for the sad brides who know that when they reach
the age of love and love, they get married in the embrace of dreams and hopes.
(sorry for that) ...
But in the novel, the story of the sincere love of two young people is described
with pleasure, so young and old, when everyone says "Last Days", they think only of
these two ...
To be honest, I don't read The Last Days again and again. And when I say I need to
take a look, I can't help it, and I'm often influenced by what's going on. The tragic
ending of the novel makes me sad. It is especially sad that Yodgor, the son of Kumush
and Otabek, died fighting the invaders, leaving no descendants of Yusufbek Haji.
I think that Yusufbek Haji and Otabek were the children of this nation. The nation
that nurtured such sincere souls had the right to live in freedom and liberty, and
achieved this great blessing through constant struggle. We have regained our
freedom, which we lost in internal struggles, conflicts and conspiracies. Thanks to the
Creator, our country has been recognized by the whole world for more than a quarter
of a century. When the national anthem is played on the highest tribunes of the
world, even high-ranking people put their hands on their chests and pay their
respects. After all, Abdullah Qadiri sang the dream of those days through the image
of Yusufbek Haji! ..
In our opinion, the basis of Abdullah Qadiri's works is, first of all, the writer's
extraordinary talent, personality, the world that shaped his worldview, the rhythm of
eternal themes in literature, the influence of the word on the psyche, and so on. as
well as a number of other mysterious elements that may or may not affect the
senses.
