The results of the analysis of the data in the figure show that with an increase in the 
amount of ammonia in relation to the MEA ratio, the MEA conversion increases, the optimal 
ratio is 1: 24 mol/mol. 
Conclusion. 
Thus, the composition and performance characteristics of industrial corrosion 
inhibitors have been studied. The active components of this type of corrosion inhibitors are 
heterocyclic compounds, including the use of imidazoline. For the production of imidazoline, the 
main raw material is ethylenediamine, which is synthesized by the catalytic (zinc, nickel, copper, 
chromium and aluminum oxide) modification of methanolamine, the optimal process conditions 
have been determined. The positive effect of the suggested method consists in a significant 
increase in the selectivity of the amination process for linear ethylene amines. This method 
provides for the production of almost all ethylene amines: EDA, DETA. TETA, TEPA, 
piperazine, N-β-aminoethylpiperazine.
