Analysis of the data in the table shows that cleaning seeds of cereal and leguminous crops 
in an air stream by dividing them into fractions makes it possible to obtain cleaned seeds from 
various impurities and weed seeds that meet the marketable condition. At the same time, by 
improving the proposed device, it is possible to improve the efficiency of cleaning seeds of 
cereal and leguminous crops from various impurities and seeds of weeds. The use of a universal 
device in agricultural production makes it possible to timely clean the harvested seeds of cereal 
and leguminous crops, eliminate manual labor during cleaning and improve the working 
conditions of workers. 
 
Conclusions. 
There is a wide variety of designs and designs of pneumatic separators. By 
the principle of their operation, they can be divided into three types: pneumo-gravity, pneumo-
pulse and pneumo-centrifugal. Thus, the developed device allows performing preliminary, 
primary and secondary cleaning of seeds of grain and leguminous crops. The use of the device 
has a number of advantages:
 
Saving. In addition to the fact that the aerodynamic separator can replace several 
conventional ones, it consumes less electricity. 
Efficiency. By loading waste from simple equipment into an aerodynamic separator, up 
to 30% of high-quality grains can be obtained.
Versatility. In order to start working with a different grain crop, you just need to change 
the operating mode. The aerodynamic method allows cleaning all types of seeds of cereals and 
legumes, as well as vegetable seeds. Reliability. Simple design, no complicated parts and no 
lubrication points make aerodynamic cages reliable and durable. 
1. Due to the absence of any simple in design, energy and resource-saving device in 
agricultural production, seeds of cereal and leguminous crops are cleaned with primitive 
devices or manual labor, which leads to a delay in cleaning the harvested crop and a decrease in 
the quality of the cleaned seeds. 
2. The use of a universal device for cleaning seeds of cereal and leguminous crops from 
impurities, as well as seeds of weeds, allows you to harvest in a timely manner, eliminate 
manual labor, and improve working conditions for workers.
