Results and their discussion:
During the defoliation process, the density of droplets 
(pieces/sm
2
) at the top and bottom of the leaf along the cotton layers was determined for all 
cotton during chemical treatment with experimental spray units equipped with a traditional CFS-
600 sprayer and an improved sprayer. When treated with a conventional CFS-600 sprayer (Fig. 
6, a) and an experimental spraying unit (Fig. 6, b), graphs for determining the density of droplets 
on the top and bottom of the leaf along the cotton layers are given.

As can be seen from the graphs in Figure 6 above, when treated with an experimental 
spraying unit, a drop density of 80 pcs/cm
2
to 213 pcs/sm
2
at the top of the leaf and 43 pcs/sm
2
to 
141 pcs/sm
2
at the bottom of the leaf was determined on cotton stalks. When treated with an 
experimental spraying unit, it was found that the coating density of droplets on the surface of 1 
sm
2
on the upper and lower sides of the leaf on cotton stalks was more than 2 times higher than 
that of a conventional CFS-600 sprayer. 
The degree of coating of the leaves of cotton stalks with highly dispersed liquid defoliant 
drops is one of the important quality indicators of chemical treatment. During the defoliation 
process, it is necessary to reduce the working fluid consumption while maintaining the quality of 
processing. The significance of this is that the collision surfaces of small droplets are three times 
larger than those of large droplets. As a result, when the plants were treated with drops, they 
were better covered with chemicals or defoliants. This in turn allowed the tiny droplets to cover 
more surface area than a single large droplet-coated surface. Due to this, the defoliation 
efficiency of the working fluid was ensured.
