Target Measurement Uncertainty - Measurement uncertainty specified as an upper limit and decided on 

the basis of the intended use of measurement results (JCGM200:2008). Represents the greatest allowed 

uncertainty for a particular usage of that result. 

 

Test Method - A body of procedures and techniques for performing an activity. The terms ‘test method’ and 

‘procedure’ are used interchangeably throughout this document and apply to all methods of testing including 

examination procedures, such as fingerprint examinations, and reviews.
