The underlying principles and parameters of growth and development needs to be
understood for harnessing maximum benefits in term of yield and quality. External
environment and inherent hormonal and metabolic pathways considerably determine
growth dynamics. Thus, a course is formulated to develop know-how on physiological
and physical aspects of growth and development processes.
