The results of extensive archeological researches
carried out by Khorezm
archeological and ethnographic expeditions in the mid-1930s and 1990s of XX century
on the settlements built on the right and left banks of the Amudarya River, which is an
important theoretical source in the coverage of history.According to historical data, in
the IX-VIII centuries BC in the territory of Northern Bactria a group of settled people,
who mastered the art of clay construction at a high level, settled in the south of the
oasis, at the height of Odoydepa, which is geologically connected with the lower left
bank of the Amu Darya. who built the resulting settlement. Thus,
the knowledge of
wall and raw bricks was reflected in the settlement of Odoydepa.1
According to the logical conclusion of the theoretical and scientific analysis of
the data recorded in the historical literature, in the VII century BC,
craftsmen of
Odoydepa built Khumbuztepa on the left bank of the Toshsaqa plateau. The
agricultural population settled in the foothills and founded Bazarkala. The first
fundamental works on the history of Bazarkala were recorded in the first fundamental
works of SP Tolstov. However, it has not become an object of study from an

archeological point of view. According to the scientific
analysis of the material
obtained as a result of archeological research, at the end of the VI century and the
beginning of the V century BC Bazarkala was built in the form of a square in the central
part of the Akchadarya basin. (600x560 m (33 ha). There is an arch in the north-east
corner of the wall, its size is 120x120 m. It consists of two construction periods. The
first historical period is a cotton wall with a corridor, the second construction period is
a raw brick wall at the top of the cotton wall. (40x44x10 cm). The characteristic feature
of the architectural solutions of the bazaar is the cotton and square brick walls, which
in turn reflected the architectural style of the circular tower and spearheads. At the
same time, the labyrinth in front of its arch depicts the
general architecture of the
castle.3 (Fig. 1).
