When I came to Tashkent, I started to ask one question: why is
that some people are more successful than others? Why is that some
people are richer and have a nicer car but others don’t. I also understand
the reason is not only hardworking. My father has been very hard
working. My mom is also hardworking. I can say that hardworking
is not the real key to the richness and greatness. And I know many
people who are rich, happy but they are not hardworking.
Ultimately, I found the answer. All successful people set
high goals and try to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals.
Successful people are the ones who know what they want.
One of my greatest coaches, Brian Tracy said: “If you have goals,
you will achieve them, if you don’t have goals, you will help the
people who have goals. It is so vital that you have to have goals.
If you want to go to the next level today, the first thing that you have
to do is to set clear and precise goals. I have done great research on
the topic of goals. Personally, I attended the top experts’ seminars
on goal setting. And I have one conclusion: any goal setting system
is better than no system at all. However, today I want to share
with you one of the best and most powerful goal setting programs.
This is a seven step goal setting you have to do step by step.
Step 1. Decide what you want.
The Finance coach, and entrepreneur, and author, Robert
Kiyosaki said: “Not everybody can become entrepreneurs.
Not everybody can find their way to succeed in the business world.
After my sentence, if you came to conclusion that “I may not be
a successful entrepreneur”. You got me wrong. What I mean is
don’t be like everybody.
90% of the people don’t know what they want. They have dreams
but not gaols. So set clear goals in these aspects of your life.
1. Health goals
2. Relationship goals
3. Self development
4. Financial goals (business and career)
5. Inner peace.

In order to keep on balance, you need to have 3-4 goals for
each area of your life. If you are not married, the first thing you
have to do is to marry. If you don’t study at university, your first
task is to start studying at university. If you don’t have your own
company, your first job is to start your own business. And so on.
Decide what you want? Ask yourself these questions over and
over again. What excites me? What “Before going over the ladder,
you have to make sure that it is leaning over the right building”.
Step 2. Write your goals down.
Please don’t consider that you have goals unless you have them
in writing. When you have goals in writing, that means a lot. Do
you know what it means? The only one skill that you can write your
goals means that you have the capacity to achieve any goal within
you right now. Writing goals down is so much powerful. This simple
great goal setting process has been proven successfully by tens
thousands of people. If you use this you will also be successful.
You will be surprised by the power of the goal setting in writing.
Step 3. Set deadline for each of your goals.
The minute you set deadlines for your goals, you will change
from a just dreamer to a goal oriented person. If you don’t achieve
your goals by the deadline, what happens? Do you have to be
frustrated? Or did you set a wrong goal? Can’t you achieve this
goal? Not at all. The answer to this question is that do didn’t make
a mistake about your goal, but you guessed the wrong deadline.
Change the deadline. And that’s all.
Step 4.
Make a list of everything you have to do to achieve your
goal. Don’t leave anything. Then turn it into an organized plan.
Set priorities and sequence for each task.
Step 5.
Start taking action.
Do something that moves you towards your goals.
Do something. Do anything. Ask people. Take action now. Don’t
settle for just simple things.

Step 6.
Know what is your major goal.
A question: can I have two major goals?
The answer: no. As one person cannot be in two ships at
the same time, one cannot have two major goals. Find your major
goal first. Then, write down 20 things that you can do to achieve
your goal. Identify which one of them could move you closer
to your goals accomplishment. And start with the important
ones.
Step 7. Do something every day and never give up until you
succeed.
If you want, you can read a book. Talk about your goal to somebody.
Do something. Do anything. Move forward. Always have your plans
for tomorrow no later than before going to bed. Know which one is
important, which is not. Never give up. You can achieve any goal you
set of yourself.
Think about your goals and how to get them.
Right now I am going to give you an exercise that can change
your life.
Take a sheet of paper and a pen. Give yourself three minutes.
And write down at least 10 to 15 goals within 3 minutes.
There are no limits for your imagination. Don’t be petrified
to set big goals. You can achieve any goal. There are no goals
what cannot be gained. The only limit is you! Nobody can stop
you if you decide to do something. Only you can stop yourself by
thinking that you can’t do that.
