The  information  in  this  section  presents  an  overview  of  the  basic  public  services,  which 

were  identified  by  the  European  Commission  and  Member  States  under  the 

Your  Europe 

initiative

 that is an EU site designed to help citizens do things in other European countries – 

avoiding  unnecessary  inconvenience  and  red  tape  in  regard  to  moving,  living,  studying, 

working, shopping or simply travelling abroad.
