The translator must also understand the importance of youth slang and monitor 
changes in the language spoken by children during this period. Because the closer the 
language is to the reader, the more there will be a demand for this literature.
A translator who plans to start working with children’s literature must be clearly 
aware of all the difficulties and the responsibilities that he will face in the way. He must 
have a sense of humor, the ability to look at the world not as an adult, but as a child, and 
translate it according to a child’s worldview and with a simple, sometimes even naive 
worldview.
