government organizations (or any combination of these).
The public cloud physically exists in the jurisdiction of the owner - the
service provider. Hybrid cloud is a combination of two or more different cloud
infrastructures (private, public) that remain unique objects, but are interconnected
by standardized or private technologies for transferring data and applications (for
example, short-term use of public cloud resources to balance the load between
clouds). Community cloud is a type of infrastructure designed for use by a specific
community of consumers from organizations with common goals. A public cloud
can be co-owned, operated and operated by one or more of the community
organizations or a third party (or some combination of these), and it can physically
exist both inside and outside the owner's jurisdiction. In practice, the boundaries
between all these types of computation are blurred [2].
Cloud storage is represented by the following service providers:
Dropbox - cloud data storage, collaboration, data synchronization through
the client program, cross-platform service; Sugar Sync - cloud storage,
commercial; Box.net - cloud data storage, the ability to edit and view from a
mobile phone; Google Drive - Free online office and built-in storage, replacement
for Google Docs; Open Drive - storage and paid downloads of information;
Syncplicity - software package for data synchronization in cross-platform
environments; Windows Live SkyDrive, a cloud-based online file storage service
with file sharing features; Yandex Disk is a free cloud data storage, a replacement
for Yandex.Narod [3].
However, cloud technologies can become not only the basis of distance and
support of real education. The university is a huge mechanism with well-
functioning interaction algorithms: the educational process is closely intertwined
with the processes of accounting, personnel accounting, and contractual relations.
Therefore, cloud computing should be considered as a means of consolidating
various internal subsystems and creating a virtual environment that will ensure
interaction not only between teachers and students, but will make the following
processes
available:
publication
of
announcements,
news
and
event
announcements; exchange of electronic messages between users, centrally or
separate categories; organization of scientific conferences, seminars, including the
holding of Internet conferences and webinars; remote interaction with students,
including the provision of educational and methodological materials in electronic
form, online consultations, testing, informing about the schedule of classes;
electronic interaction with applicants, including informing, consulting, remote
registration of applicants' applications [4].
Summing up, it should be noted that the use of cloud technologies in the
educational process will allow educational institutions to significantly reduce costs,
as well as increase the efficiency of using computing resources, because the cloud
paradigm implies payment as they are used. At the same time, access to
information stored in the cloud can be obtained by any user who has a computer or
mobile device connected to the Internet from anywhere in the world. In addition,
