There is no denying that the language of social media and the Internet are 
affecting the way we use English in our daily lives. All these words derived from 
them have become so common that are now popular without even realizing it. It's 
obvious that writing is taking precedence over speech. Researchers have conducted 
many studies, which will be further explained.
