Fixing Seams
The Extrude Transition method and the Model Edging Band both work well to fix visible 
texture seams as described in Chapter 9. Subdivide the surface at the seam with an edge and 
add a transition band and/or adjust the heights of the surfaces relative to each other. Even a 
slight elevation or depression or narrow transition band adds a good level of realism.
That provides three options for fixing the seam:

Extrude or depress the surface.

Add an edging object.

Using the right-click Texture tool, reposition one or both of the textures.
ruby Scripts for Detailing
Several Ruby Scripts are very useful for adding detail to your model (Fig. 16.26, Fig. 16.27). All 
of the scripts mentioned here are excellent modeling tools that greatly expand what SketchUp 
can model and detail. Round Corner and Profile Builder are outlined here with some detail 
because these are quick and easy tools to use. Extrude Edges, Artisan, Instant Roof, and Road 
Ruby Scripts are mentioned but not explained in depth. Refer to their respective websites to 
learn more about how to use these scripts.
