airport is equipped with radio-technical light signals that allow to receive aircraft that
meet the requirements of the second category of ICAO standards.
Factors such as the availability of electricity, water and gas infrastructure, the
proximity of labor-intensive settlements and the analysis of favorable working
conditions and the availability of a favorable ecosystem for the lives of FEZ residents
were taken into account when selecting the site for the Navoi SEZ. The Navoi Free
Economic Zone has a railway freight terminal with a 40-hectare container area. 26
km of roads have been built in the FEZ area, and parking lots for cars and trucks with
an area of 5 hectares each have been placed on both sides of the highway near the
cargo terminal to access the economic zone.

Based on the analysis and research, the area near the Navoi airport has been
identified as the location of the FEZ. The basis for the establishment of a free
industrial economic zone around the city of Navoi is as follows:
► Presence of chemical, energy, mining and cement enterprises, which are one of the
largest industrial enterprises in the country;
► The passage of railway routes from Navoi region to the ports of Iran and Turkey,
the ports of the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea, as well as the shortest railway from
China to Europe;
► Availability of vacant land for construction of industrial facilities. For example,
the area of available land along the E-40 route between the city and the airport is
1,000 hectares;
► The deep integration of Uzbek producers into international trade and economic
relations is important not only in the domestic market, but also in foreign countries
(especially in the CIS), which stimulates the production of products;
► Navoi FEZ has the opportunity to create an environmentally friendly, modern,
diversified industrial base in the next 20-30 years.
The major regional markets of the Republic of Uzbekistan play a key role in
the decision to establish a separate FEZ in Navoi region. ynadi. The availability of
favorable conditions for the creation of an international transport and logistics center
on the basis of Navoi airport has created conditions for the development of new
competitive products and their uninterrupted supply to consumers in Europe and
Asia.
In addition, the Navoi Free Economic Zone has a number of benefits for
foreign and domestic investors. Business entities registered in the SEZ "Navoi" are
subject to land tax, property tax, income tax, provided that the volume of direct
investments in them is as follows: i, exemption from the tax on improvement and
improvement of social infrastructure, the single tax payment (for small enterprises),
obligatory payments to the Republican road fund and the Republican fund for
development of school education:
► 3 mln. 10 million euros up to Euro - for 7 years;
► 10 mln. 30 million euros up to Euro - for 10 years. The amount of income
tax and single tax payment for the next 5 years is set at 50% of the current rate;
► 30 mln. for more than 15 years. For the next 10 years, the amount of income
tax and the single tax payment will be set at 50% of the current rate.
The concept of establishing a free economic zone on the basis of Navoi airport
will be implemented in three stages (innovation-industrial, transport-logistics and
social-recreational complex), each of which includes a plan to develop 500 hectares
