Summary 
One of the actual problems of the banking system is measures to reduce the 
toxic assets in commercial banks. Therefore, during the research, we worked 
extensively on this topic. The data for literature review was collected by studying 
researches and views of other local and foreign scientists, scientific articles and 
local laws and regulations on this issue.
In order to increase the practical value of the scientific work, we studied 
statistically based methods of econometric analysis about the state of toxic assets 
and how banks work with them, especially in “Hamkorbank” joint-stock bank. In 
addition, experience of foreign banks in this area were studied.
Scientific and practical conclusions, suggestions and recommendations on 
measures to reduce toxic assets, based on research and analyses have been 
elaborated.
