1. Ingliz tilida ko’pgina otlarga 
–s
qo’shimchasini qo’shish oraqali ko’plik hosil qilinadi:
a car – two cars; an apple – three apples; a tree – many trees, a song – two hundred songs, etc.
ح. Agar ot 
–s, -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -o
harfari bilan tugasa, ko’plik hosil qilishda, otning oxiriga 
–es
qo’shimchasi qo’shiladi:
a bus – ten buses; a dress – a lot of dresses; a brush – four brushes; a torch – eleven torches; a box – fve boxes; a tomato – lots of
tomatoes, a potato – three potatoes, etc.
