Single-zone AHU
The single-zone air-handling unit serves one zone or a group of con-
tiguous zones with similar loads (Fig. 8.53).
The space temperature control loop operates as follows. Controller
C2 controls valves V1 (heating) and V2 (cooling) in sequence. Valve
V1 is normally open and closes as the output of C2 increases. When
