immediately after the finite verb. In English it usually comes immediately
before the finite verb.

In subordinate clauses in Swedish the clausal adverbial (adverb) always
comes immediately before the finite verb.
Remember: S-I-V : Subject – Inte – Verb. In English the position varies.
4 Adverbs split the infinitive (12.8.2)
att – CA – NFV(inf)
Vi bad honom
att genast sluta röka.
to – NFV(inf) – CA
We asked him
to stop smoking immediately.
5 Emphasizing part of a clause (12.7.8)
A word or words to be emphasized (W) may be extracted from a clause
and placed in this special construction. The rest of the sentence is
downgraded to a subordinate clause after som. W can represent most
elements in a Swedish clause.
