Status of the Degree:

 Select "Degree Awarded," "Degree Expected," or "No Degree Planned" depending on the status of 

your degree for this institution at the time you submit your application to VMCAS.  

 

Degree Name for Degree:

 If you earned a degree from the institution, select the appropriate degree from the list. If you did 

not earn a degree from the institution, select "No Degree." If your degree is not in the drop down menu, select “Other Other” 

and type it in the “Specific Title or Name of First Degree if ‘Other’” field. 

 

Date Degree earned or anticipated (Month/Year):

 Enter the month and year in which you earned or expect to earn the 

degree. If you will not earn a degree from this institution, leave this field blank.  

If you do not have a second degree, select No Major, None None, and No Degree Planned.
