This type of method is where a teacher selects learners who perform well to tutor other who are having 

difficulties with the lesson. This method is more applicable in colleges, universities and other higher 

learning institutions. 

 Merits of peer-tutoring

It develops a friendly relationship between the tutor and the tutee.

It develops good communication skills between the tutor and the tutee.

It makes students who tutor other usually learn to be responsible people.
