Why is it important to obey law?
As far as I'm concerned, law has a
crucial role to play
in
maintaining social
order and stability. The reason why I feel this way is that if there are
penalties
on wrongdoings
, people will be less willing to
commit crimes
or
offenses.
This cannot only help them become
law-abiding citizens
, but they can also
avoid causing harm to others. For example, a bill on litter dropping can make
us more
environmentally conscious
because we’re afraid to
get heavily
fined
and consequently put garbage in certain trash cans.
