To provide a summary of the analysis mentioned above, the expected roles of the 
research institutes in infectious diseases control are identified in terms of the 
framework of the evaluation, which are 1) Research, 2) Human Resources 
Development, and 3) Contribution to the Health Services.

 Recommendations 
As a result of the analysis described in 1.3.2, an overall summary of the effects of 
cooperation by JICA is examined and common factors promoting continued 
cooperation are derived from this.  Consequently, the direction of future 
cooperation is presented with a table of the expected roles of the research 
institutes.
