It can be seen from the figure that when the reaction is carried out at a temperature of 65-
75 ° C for up to 8 hours, chlorine is replaced in an amount from 27 to 32%, and sulfur in an amount 
from 1.3 to 1.5% ... 
In the next stage, the modification has been carried out by mixing chlorinated sulfated 
polyethene with primary polymers in different proportions. Blended thermoplastic elastomers 
(TPEs) were obtained by high-speed melt mixing of recycled polyethene (HPE) or low molecular 
weight polyethene (LPE) with synthesized chlorosulfonated polyethene. For mixed TPEs, the level 
of strength of the thermoplastic, as a rule, is not achieved. However, as can be seen from the tab. 
1, the strength of the VPE-CSPE compositions obtained in the mode of dynamic mixing of the 
polyolefin is higher, which turned out to be unexpected

The phenomenon of increased strength can be explained by the structuring of the 
elastomeric component in the process of high-temperature mixing. As follows from the TGA 
results (Fig. 2), at 140 ° C, the CSPE begins to noticeably lose weight.
