Linux and UNIX installation
Similar to the windows and Mac OS platforms, you can install Python on
your Linux and UNIX OS. To do that, follow these steps below.
Open your internet browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Internet
Explorer)
and

Click on the Unix/Linux link and down the zipped source code
Once the file in question has finished downloading, you can
extract the file using a file extracting software like WinZip.
Edit the setup files to perform any form of personalization to suit
your use.
Run the ./configure script to install.
With this, Python will be installed. The standard location and libraries are
located at /usr/local/bin and /usr/local/lib/Python respectively
