Section 166 Any person, who intentionally destroys, damages, removes or displaces a sign, signal or aid placed for
the safety of shipping or of aviation, or frustrates its operation or places a false sign or signal, shall be
liable to:
1°. a term of imprisonment not exceeding twelve years or a fine of the fifth category, if such act is
likely to endanger the safety of shipping or of aviation;
2°. a term of imprisonment not exceeding fifteen years or a fine of the fifth category, if such act is
likely to endanger the safety of shipping or of aviation and the offence results in the sinking,
running aground or wreckage of a vessel or aircraft;
