Teaching Secondary Students to Write Effectively

Writing strategies

 are structured series of 

actions (mental, physical, or both) that writ-

ers undertake to achieve their goals. Writing 

strategies can be used to plan and set goals, 

draft, evaluate, revise, and edit.
