The tasks of the research are: 
analysis of the process of preparing students for innovative activities in the 
field of vocational education in the context of informatization of education; 
designing the process of gradual preparation of students in the field of 
vocational education for innovative activities in the context of informatization of 
education of higher educational institutions; 
improving the criteria for assessing the innovative professional activity of 
vocational education teachers in the context of the informatization of education; 
improvement of methods and means of training students of vocational 
education for innovative activities, development of assessment criteria and 
verification of their effectiveness in experimental work 
The object of the research is the process of preparing students of vocational 
education of higher educational institutions for innovative activities. 
The subject of the research is the content, forms, methods and means of 
developing the readiness of students in the field of vocational education for 
innovative activities in the context of the informatization of education. 
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows: 
improving the content of preparing students of vocational education for 
innovative activities in the context of the informatization of higher education by 
determining the stages of innovation-adaptation, innovative user, innovative 
research and innovative design; 
improving the process of assessing the readiness of students in the field of 
vocational education for innovative activities in the context of informatization of 
higher education based on the introduction of innovative pedagogical knowledge
innovative technological skills and innovative professional competence; 
improving the methodology of preparing students for innovative activities in 
the field of vocational education in the context of informatization of higher 
education through the introduction of SMART, SMART portfolio, "Chalk and 
Talk" methods; 
improving the tools for training students in the field of vocational education 
in the context of informatization of education through the development of the 
"Network boomerang" technology and methods of its use.
