All received droplets were divided into intervals of 10 µm and the average size di and number of
droplets in each interval were determined. The total volume of droplets in the group, the volume
of droplets smaller than di and finally the volume fraction of droplets smaller than di were
determined.
Fig.3 shows a graph of droplet distribution by size depending on physical and chemical
properties of liquids and conditions of liquid dispersion in one of the steps of the barbotage
extractor.
