SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE USE OF LEVEL SENSORS IN 

DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF FUEL CONSUMPTION OF THE 

VEHICLE

Annotation. 

 

This  article  discusses  how  to  determine  the  amount  of  fuel  used  by 

vehicles using liquid level switches. The essence, advantages and disadvantages 

of the use of level sensors are explained on the basis of experiments.

Introduction.    The  current depletion of  conventional  energy  resources  and  the 

growing population of the world are also leading to a sharp increase in demand 

for energy resources. An increase in demand and a decrease in resources require 

the rational, economical use of available energy sources. In this regard, a large 

part of the demand for fuel and lubricants is transport (cars, trucks, agricultural 

machinery,  etc.).  Accurately  determining  the  fuel  consumption  of  vehicles 

means  that  the  product  is  saved  without  affecting  productivity.  Understanding 

the pros and cons of using level sensors in determining vehicle fuel consumption 

requires knowledge of it first.
