3. The main disadvantages of potentiometric sensors 

1. The presence of a moment of reverse impact in the form of a moment of dry 

friction forces, worsening the quality of the device.  

2. Limited service life due to the presence of rubbing parts.  

3.  The  complexity  of  manufacturing  sensors  designed  for  use  on  the  axes  of 

suspension of the sensing element.  

4. Light damage caused by the exceptional “delicacy” of the sensor design.  

5. The discrete nature of the increment of the output signal.  

6. Low reliability, especially when working in conditions vibration and inertial 

overload.
