43.6.1 John has just received his exam results. Unfortunately his results weren’t good

enough for him to get into the college he wanted. He’s talking to a friend about his

situation.

John: I’m so disappointed.

Friend: Why don’t you wait for a year and retake your exams? Or maybe

you could get into a different college to study something different.

John: I’m not sure what to do yet. There are a lot of options. I’m going to

think about it for a few days and make a decision.

Friend: Sounds like a good idea. It’s not an easy decision to make.
