  1) what kinds of things can young people learn from old people?
  

To my mind, old people can teach the young lots of things starting from different necessary skills to attitude to themselves, people around them and life.

• 
  2) how can people in the neighbourhood help the elderly during the epidemic?
  

Well, I guess they can do it in a number of ways, actually. For example, they can set up or join a WhatsApp group for the community to keep in touch to ensure the elderly feel connected to someone as many older people may be alone during the epidemic.
