Aspects of the Course of Vasomotor Rhinitis in 
Patients in a Comparative Aspect 


Annatation
: 
The information of modern otorhinolaryngology has been 
carried out. In addition, the medical and social aspects of 
the course of vasomotor rhinitis in patients were studied 
and analyzed in a comparative aspect. The main risk 
factors for development are presented according to the 
data of domestic and foreign and other regional 
characteristics for the risk of development.

Relevance.
A disease is not only a pathological state of the human body, but also psycho-emotional 
pressure on the body, which knocks a person out of the daily rhythm, and also leads to an increase in 
the costs of the family budget. This affects the quality of life of the patient and those close to him [3,5].
 
Vasomotor rhinitis- is a common disease and in recent years the number of patients with this pathology 
has been continuously increasing [1]. Deterioration of the ecological situation, pollution of the 
environment, uncontrolled use of drugs, decrease in the body's defenses - all this caused an increase in 
the prevalence of vasomotor rhinitis. 
In children with vasomotor rhinitis, changes in autonomic homeostasis were revealed, which are of a 
different nature and depend on the type of initial auto-nomic tone, autonomic reactivity and autonomic 
support of the child's activity [7,9,10]. 
Many researchers emphasize that vasomotor rhinitis is a widespread disease. Every third person on the 
planet suffers from this pathology, and in recent decades there has been an increase in the proportion of 
vasomotor rhinitis in the structure of diseases of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and 
paranasal sinuses [6]. 
According to Gadzhimirzaev G.A. et al. at present, in the structure of chronic rhinitis, vasomotor 
rhinitis is 21%, and its frequency increases mainly among the most able-bodied persons of young and 
mature age [4,8,11]. 
The study and analysis of medical and social aspects of the course of a certain nosological unit allows 
specialists to determine the level of influence of a given disease on the physical and psychological state 
of a person and the family in which he lives [2].
