Once in the window I saw a sparrow. He was 

small and completely frozen. The bird lay in the 

snow. I went out into the yard and picked up a 

sparrow. I brought the bird home, put it in a box 

and covered it with a warm cloth. When the 

sparrow warmed up, I put him in a cage for a 

parrot and poured millet and crumbs to him. 

Poured him some water in the lid. Sparrow began 

to peck grain. I watched him all day. And in the 

evening my mother came and we released a 

sparrow into the yard. He sat on a branch and sat 

a little, and then flew away. Since then, a feeding 

trough has been hanging on my window and all 

hungry birds fly in and peck millet. After all, birds 

need to eat in the winter, otherwise they will 

freeze. In winter, it is especially difficult for birds, 

because it is difficult to get food.
