MASTER’S THESIS ANNOTATION
Relevance of the dissertation topic. The relevance of my dissertation is to meet the needs of the population in transport, the regulation of vehicles on the route and the introduction of logistics management in passenger transport.

Purpose and tasks of the work:

The purpose of the study is to study the system of passenger transport in Andijan and develop methods for its development.

Tasks of the research consists of:

  study of the urban passenger transport system and its role in the socio-economic development of the city;
  
• 
  analysis of existing types of urban passenger transport;
  

analysis of the current state of the Andijan city passenger transport system;

• 
  to study the needs of the urban population in public transport and the involvement of vehicles in it;
  
• 
  Development of recommendations to ensure the regularity of Andijan city transport.
  

Object and subject of research:

The object of the study was the route of public transport in Andijan.

The subject of the study is the indicators of the process of providing transport services to the flow of passengers in logistics systems.

Methodology and methods of research. The research used experimental, observational, mathematical analysis, statistical and modeling, cluster, systematic and theoretical analysis, synthesis, abstraction and induction of key components.

The degree of scientific novelty of the research results:

  To study the demand of the population of Andijan for public transport;
  
• 
  Installation of NFC-validator for contactless payments on public transport in the city;
  
• 
  introduction of electronic cards for public transport;
  
• 
  Development of passenger transportation system using UzGPS devices.
  

Practical significance and application of research results.

The practical significance of the study is that in order to reduce fares, it is necessary to receive information in a timely manner through online boards at bus stops, to receive information about bus traffic in real time, to reduce fuel consumption, reducing walking distance and vehicle repair costs.

The main results of the work done:

During the research, a realistic system of passenger information about bus travel times will be developed, and it will be possible to quickly change the mode of movement of buses, keep the intervals of buses the same, as well as slightly increase the speed of buses.

A brief summary of the conclusions and recommendations.

The system of urban passenger transport and its role in the socio-economic development of the city were studied; the existing types of urban passenger transport were analyzed; the current state of the Andijan city passenger transport system was analyzed; the needs of the urban population in public transport and the involvement of vehicles in it were studied; Recommendations have been developed to ensure the regularity of Andijan city transport, some convenience will be created for schoolchildren who have privileges in the use of public transport, and the calculation of passenger traffic will be somewhat simplified. Proposals were made for the widespread introduction of modern management methods in enterprises engaged in passenger transportation, the introduction of electronic payment systems in vehicles engaged in passenger transportation and the introduction of UzGPS in the transportation system.

The following solutions are obtained as a result of dissertation research:

The introduction of electronic payment and UzGPS systems in urban public transport will create some convenience for citizens who have the privilege to use public transport, and will make it easier to calculate the flow of passengers.
