The topicality of our work is analyze the huge contribution to creation of English that was made by Idioms' way.

Practical value consists in the fact that the present work is a valuable manual for specialists concerned with teaching and learning English and can be used as a teaching guide for stirring up idiomatic sentences. The results of the investigation are aimed at better understanding of the language.

Theoretical value consists in understanding the importance and worth of the idiom in modern English.

The object of the research is the process of teaching foreign language vocabulary.

The subject of the research is English Idioms in teaching vocabulary which are the most efficient for mastering the foreign language.

Structure of the qualification paper. The paper consists of introduction, two main chapters, conclusion and bibliography.

In Introduction we have defined the main aim and tasks of the work, its theoretical and practical significance.

In Chapter I we have given the brief review on teaching vocabulary and general information about idioms, their classification and syntactic features.

Chapter II of the work is called “The use of idioms in English vocabulary”. It contains much practical illustrative material describing the health and colour related idioms and travelling idioms for learners.

In the conclusion we summarize results of our investigation and give proof of the theoretical and practical value of the work and make conclusion.

In bibliography there are given a list of used literature in alphabetical order.
