Actuality of the theme of research is to provide a critical assessment of the role played by methods in the educational process, though there is also an account of the main different methods of foreign language teaching (FLT) that are in use today. A knowledge of the different methods gives foreign language teachers a good background reference to their own stand on pedagogical matters and classroom practice, and in addition helps them understand the process that FLT has undergone, particularly through this century.
The aim of the research is investigation of the FLT as a process means that teaching is not static but changing to respond to new needs and demands as teachers, applied linguists and educationists can prove The tasks of the research:
- to investigate the modern ways of teaching in modern literature;
- to describe modern teaching methods and positive and negative sides of them;
- to define the teaching methods;
- to pay attention to the peculiarities of interactive ways teaching in modern classrooms
The object of the research deals with the differences between approaches, methods and techniques, as well as the three major issues which are recent FLT.
The subject of the research is investigation of results and effects of analyzing of different teaching methods.
Theoretical significance of the research is large material which can be included into the lectures on teaching target language, a lot of literary texts which can be found by students in internet, scientific articles.
The practical significance of the research is that these interesting and stimulating ways and means of studying the peculiarities of modern methods can be used in seminars, course works and scientific articles in higher education institutions of our country.
The structure of the research. It consists of the following parts: Introduction, Main part, Conclusion and The list of used literature. Each part consists of small paragraphs. Conclusion compiles the most significant results of the research. List of used literature consists of more than 15 theoretical works, journals and internet resources which were used for writing the course work.
