Our qualification paper is devoted to analyze the problem of children in the books of Gafur Gulam and mark Twain. The ancient periods of Uzbek literature include the Genres of latifa (jokes), the largest genres of the Uzbek folklore an dastan (poem) and heroic epic poem. “Alpomish”. Every centuries has its own masterpiece (“Shayboniynoma”, “Boburnoma”).

1. Heroic unforgettable epic – romantic poem “Gurugli”, “Tokhir and Zukhra”. The name of Alisher Navoi is famous all over the world. His work “Hamza” was translated into many languages. Uzbek she writers also developed Uzbek literature with their chistons (poem) “Anor” and many others.
2. The periods of American literature is different from Uzbek literature. Beginning with Enlightenment, myths, legends, tales American literature became one of the greatest literature, in the world. During the half century, when the literature discussed in this section was written The United States went through some of the greatest changes in its history . The cultural movements like Romanticism, Realism, Modernism were given in this research.
3. The role of the Uzbek writer Gafur Gulam is great in Uzbek literature. He left us many poems and novels. The theme many of works were about the second World War II and the problem of orphan children in that period. Russian writer Nikolay Tikhonov said about him: “He has glorified with his talent the Uzbek Poetry and affairs of Uzbek people”.
4. The literary career of the outstanding American writer as mark Twain. The greatest American writer Ernest Hemingway said: “All modern American literature begins with one book it is Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn”. He was true father of American literature.
5. The book of Gafur Gulam “Naughty boy” became the reference book for millions of Uzbek people. This political touching story is about the life of people in the beginning of XX century, difficulties of that time, the alive , precisely written but images of main heroes and especially the boy whom for cheerful nature and irrepressible energy have nicknamed simply and clearly “Shum bola” can leave nobody indifferent.
6. The masterpiece of Mark Twain’s “Tom Sawyer is also about the naughty boy of realism, about his actions at school, in the church. Twain jokes fun at organized religion.
7. The problem of children in these two books is given describing the social situation . The main hero of “Naughty boy” is Karavay or nickname “Shum bola” a naughty boy who wanted to earn money and spent many difficulties in his life. Going around the country he came across with many problems. Being not independent he tried to solve those problems himself. Gafur Gulam described his main character very briefly and lively. It is the original text book of a life. During the second World War many children lost their parents and became orphan. A talented writer Gafur Gulam described these problems in his book “Naughty boy”.
8. Mark Twain’s “Tom Sawyer” is also an original book of American literature with the main character the writer criticized the orphan children, boring educational system of that period, difficult life of children in that time.
Having written these research I got a lot of interesting facts about two writers of two nations. Both these books are unforgettable and worth of reading.
